Offline player |

For occasions when a live internet connection is not available in the classroom, yTeach.co.uk provides a free offline player. This allows you to download any purchased resources onto your computer. When you play the resources back in class, you will not require a live internet connection.
To download your chosen resources, open the resource preview page. In the "Actions" box on the right of the screen, you will see a list of options. The final option is "Download". On Playlist and Class Assignment editing pages, this option appears higher up the list of Actions.
Select the Download option, and you will be given the choice to save your resources in a file ending in .zip. Click the "Save" option, and chose a convenient place to save your new file.
Once saving has completed, you can find the .zip file on your computer. Click on it with the right mouse button. Choose the "Extract all…" option and your files will be unpacked from the zip to a folder of the same name at a convenient location (follow the on-screen guide).
Within this new folder, you will see a file named "start". Double-click the file name, and your offline player will activate. You should now be able to see all your resources as if they were working in yTeach.co.uk online.
Depending on the security settings of your computer, you might be requested to click an option to play interactive content. This is a standard issue with computers, and clicking the bar at the top of the screen to allow content will let your content play properly.
