My class assignments |
 |
The 'My class assignments' section allows you to create class assignments, pass them to your students, and check the detailed results.
Similar to playlists, class assignments can be created either in the 'My class assignments' section or from the resource's details screen. Remember that only the resources containing 'exercises' can report back students' results. Each class assignment contains its name, instructions for pupils, and an access code.
The access code allows pupils to enter class assignments. They do not have to sign in or provide any detailed personal information. To start the class assignment, pupils must go to
www.yLearn.co.uk
– the student version of yTeach. Here, they enter their name and the access code of the class assignment which you have given them. When all the tasks are completed, they should click on the 'Close class assignment' link. After that, their results will appear on your teacher account on yTeach in the 'My class assignments' section.

When creating class assignments, we recommend you use Class activities or single activities. These are the best resources to use in computer based learning – especially in the assessment for learning process.
