How to browse the resources

There are about 30,000 resources available on yTeach, and the Portal is designed to help you search for relevant materials quickly and easily.

You can search for resources using:

- keywords (each resource is described by appropriate metadata),
- browse by categories (subject, grade, resource type),
- browse by key document structure (structures of specific documents).

For each subject at each level, the 'browse by curriculum' option offers resources mapped against different structures. Each structure contains a list of specific topics. Each topic has a number of connected resources. Currently you can choose between three main document structures: resource structure, AQA document structure and QCA document structure. We anticipate mapping our resources against other document structures in the near future (eg. other examination boards or popular textbooks).

After searching, a list of the lessons meeting your criteria will be displayed. You can always narrow your search results by choosing more than one category (criteria are cumulative), or by adding a keyword.

Next, you can either access the resource's details page, where the resource can be bookmarked, or preview the resource. You can also preview the resource from the resource details page, by clicking on 'start' in the 'Actions' frame.
